Church on the Rock loves to meet the needs of it's members but at times will be unable to meet your need. For that reason we have gathered a growing list of Community Resources for your review. Contact these organizations directly if you have a need or desire to volunteer.
www.AdministerJustice.org - Provides a wide range of services to meet both the immediate and future needs of low-income individuals facing civil legal matters. Most of their services are available at no-cost; some require a one-time nominal administrative fee. Anyone will qualify for help if their household earns less than 250% of the Federal Poverty Guideline. Their program leads to personal empowerment built on Biblical principles.
www.FishOfMcHenry.org - This all volunteer service organization strives to meet the supplemental emergency needs of the disadvantaged in our community. Often it "fills the gap" while people are waiting for public aid, food stamps, disability or unemployment compensation to begin.
